Rev. David Kramer - Senior Pastor

Pastor Dave joined St. John's staff during the summer of 2004.  He is a graduate of Peru State College and Wartburg Theological Seminary.  His first call was to Good Shepherd Lutheran in Bismarck, ND.  In 1976, he accepted a call as Mission Developer/Pastor of Christ the Servant Lutheran of Norfolk, NE.  His next call was in 1990 to St. Mark's Lutheran in Pender, NE, where he served for eight years.  In 1996, he accepted a call to St. John Lutheran of Nashua, IA, and served there for four years while his wife, Joann, answered a life-long call to ordained ministry by attending Wartburg Seminary.  Pastor Joann was odained in 2000 and joined Pastor Dave as co-pastor at St. John in Nashua where they served for another four years.  During that time, the congregation nearly doubled in attendance and was recognized as one of the fastest growing congregations of its size in the ELCA.

In addition to preaching, teaching, worship leadership, and administering the sacraments, Pastor Dave's duties at St. John, Beatrice, include supervision of staff, counseling, and pastoral care.  His greatest passion is to share the awesome Good News of Jesus and equip God's people to accomplish St. John's mission: to "Know Jesus! Tell about Jesus! and Love as Jesus loves!"  Pastor Dave and Pastor Joann have six adult living children and seven grandchildren.

Becky Wiese - Accounting Clerk

Becky joined the St. John staff in August of 2004. As Accounting Clerk she keeps busy with the financial details for the church. She has enjoyed meeting & working with the membership of St. John.

Pam Keller - Administrative Secretary

Pam started as Administration Secretary in November 2005.  With the 
on-goings of a busy church office, Pam is focused on organization, 
doing things in a timely manner, and keeping everyone on track; plus 
the hundreds of bulletins printed each week.

Jay Carnes has been St. John's Maintenance person since the spring of 2007.  He is very handy and is always willing to help maintain our facilities in whatever way is needed.
